Introduction
The political and military situation prior to the Williamite Campaign will
be discussed.
       This tour covers the main events of the Williamite Campaign.
The lecturer for the Northern section of the tour is the well-known historian and author Mr. Richard Doherty.
The lecturer in the Republic is Dr. Harman Murtagh an expert in 17 Century warfare. The Tour starts in the Tower Hotel Derry with a welcome drink, dinner and a lecture by Richard Doherty on the political and military background to this campaign.
The next day we tour the site of the siege of Derry and the museum, time permitting. We overnight again in THD on Wednesday 02 July we travel to Fermanagh and examine the campaign in Enniskillen and Newtownbutler.
The next leg of the tour brings us to Drogheda where we meet Dr. Murtagh in the Boyne Valley Hotel.
