This guided tour includes visits to:

A: The main areas of Battle.
B: Cemeteries, including special visits to relatives graves / memorials as requested. This part of the tour will be a priority.
C: Museums.
D: Wreath laying ceremonies at Menin Gate and Messines Irish Tower.
E: Please note that this programme will be subject to change both before the tour and during the tour. It is designed to deliver what our clients are looking for and that priority will always be. Those who wish to visit their relative’s graves will take priority.

DEPOSIT of €100 is required to secure a booking with the balance to be paid by the end of February 2005. The deposit is NOT refundable, as Air tickets are not transferable

THUR. 12 May
Rendezvous Dublin Airport       @     0400
Depart Dublin - Charleroi          @    0630 ETA 0905.

» En route past Mons visit monuments and plaques Rue Bruxelles / Rue Brisee cross road and return to the motorway after circa 40 minutes.
» Visit the area where the first and last shots of the war were fired.
» Visit St Symphorian Cemetery where the first and last Allied casualties are buried
» Lunch
» Flanders Field Museum Ieper. A superb visit.

   Transfer to Novotel Hotel in Ieper (Ypres)

Fri 13 May
Breakfast     @    0800
Tour            @    0900

» Depart for Thiepval Memorial, en route visit POZIERES Cemetery
» Visit UK/French Somme memorial, Ulster Memorial Tower, Newfoundland Memorial Park (all within a 5 km radius).
» Visit St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Loos and the grave of 2086 Pte P. Flynn, 6Bn Royal Irish Regiment.

N.B. Hotel will provide a packed lunch. You are free to avail of this offer or not. It is recommended however, as obtaining lunch otherwise will be difficult and time consuming.

We will formally lay a wreath on behalf of fallen relatives and all Irish casualties.
